Description :
Full time, year round position in the Technology department as Information Technology Support Coordinator,that supports all schools in the Bedford School District, beginning June 2026. This position is responsible for performing administrative duties that ensure the effective and efficient operations of the technology department. This includes: disseminating information to staff, technology purchasing and budget tracking, account management and providing end user support in the operation and administration of the district's hardware and software systems. Administrative system functions include, but are not limited to, financial management systems, student information management, special education systems, nursing software, library automation systems, and internal and external communications systems.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a technology support capacity. Technical and end user knowledge of MacOS, Windows and i0S operating systems. Advanced knowledge of student information systems (PowerSchool preferred), Library Automation Software, Nursing software, Transportation Systems, Food Service Systems and the integration of these systems. Experience with i4see state reporting requirements a plus. Advanced knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software including Google Apps, Google Sites, Gmail and Web 2.0 applications. Good interpersonal skills necessary for extensive interaction with school staff. Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.
