The
Juniper Data Center SME
participates in and/or leads the architectural design, testing and implementation of network and data center transformation for the customer enterprise in prep for network transformations from Cisco to Juniper. The goal for this team is to physically install 6-8 VA Clinics and Medical Centers per month.
Expertise in network technologies such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks including Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Quality of Service.
Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, Up Logix LM83(x), Cisco LAN 9500 and 9300s
Seasoned with Juniper MIST AI and XLM
Must have experience designing and implementing Cisco to Juniper network transformations
Performs work that will include a variety of complex features and require multi- or interdisciplinary approaches.
Examples of other activities include the following:
Evaluate network performance reports and provide network consulting support
Engineer / re-engineer network consistent with customer service level requirements and approved requirements document (i.e. IPv6, multi-VRF, QOS, etc.)
Plan logical addressing, redundancy, capacity (logical & physical).
Provide technical information for, and final technical editing of, all documents and proposals
Demonstrates leadership and polished communication skills at an enterprise level and in cross-functional teams to assist with the development of strategic and enterprise plans.
Must be passionate, continuous learner for cutting edge technology, customer-focused, team-oriented and consultative skills, be highly accountable, be self-directed and productive with strong work ethic, be willing to show "presence" and availability on IM during business hours.
MUST be fully COVID vaccinated and negative TB test.
