Role Responsibilities
Lead design and delivery for components/services with clear acceptance criteria and milestones; document trade-offs and interfaces.
Define best practices for using approved AI tools within the team; create reusable prompts/workflows; coach others on safe use.
Set testing strategy for owned components; ensure robust unit, integration, and contract tests; introduce performance/reliability tests where needed.
Own release plans/runbooks; improve CI/CD automation; implement safe rollout/rollback strategies (e.g., canary, blue-green).
Lead incident response for owned scope; run postmortems; define SLIs/SLOs; improve observability and reduce MTTR.
Enforce secure coding and dependency hygiene; manage secrets appropriately; align with compliance requirements.
Drive knowledge transfer: regular demos, design reviews, and enablement sessions; ensure maintainability post-contract.
