We are seeking an SCCM Engineer (contractor) for a short-term (3 Month) engagement to support enterprise-wide endpoint imaging and deployment initiatives. The primary focus will be on SCCM imaging across 1,000+ devices, troubleshooting failed images, and repairing broken devices. The role will also provide secondary support for Windows 10 to 11 upgrade projects and general endpoint maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, configure, and deploy Windows images with SCCM.
Image and support 1,000+ endpoint devices, ensuring successful deployments.
Troubleshoot and repair imaging failures and broken endpoint devices.
Maintain and optimize SCCM task sequences and deployment processes.
Collaborate with support teams to ensure devices are imaged and delivered ready for end users.
Provide technical assistance during deployments and OS upgrades.
Support Windows 10 to 11 upgrades as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on expertise in SCCM imaging and deployment in enterprise environments.
Proven ability to image, configure, and support large volumes of endpoints (1,000+ devices).
Experience diagnosing and resolving imaging failures and device issues.
Solid understanding of Windows operating systems.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Windows 10-11 upgrade projects.
Familiarity with Windows upgrades and SCCM imaging best practices.
Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent) a plus.
Experience with automation and scripting for SCCM deployments.
