Job Title: Network Operations Engineer L3
Location: Hosuton, TX (Onsite)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Network Operations L3 Engineer to provide advanced operational support troubleshooting and implementation for enterprise network infrastructure The role involves handling complex incidents leading changes and acting as an SME for Cisco Firewalls and Routing Switching environments
Key Responsibilities
Provide L3 support for production network environments including incident resolution root cause analysis and preventive actions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to routing switching and firewall technologies
Configure manage and optimize Cisco Firewalls ASA Firepower FTD including
ACLs NAT VPN SitetoSite Remote Access
Policy changes upgrades and failover scenarios
Design configure and support Routing Switching infrastructure
Routing protocols OSPF BGP EIGRP
Switching technologies VLANs STP HSRPVRRP PortChannels
Lead and execute network changes upgrades migrations and maintenance activities following ITIL processes
Act as escalation point for L2NOC teams and mentor junior engineers
Participate in problem management RCA documentation and service improvement initiatives
Work closely with security cloud and application teams during outages and project activities
Maintain technical documentation HLDLLD SOPs runbooks change records

Strong handson with Cisco Routers Switches

Troubleshooting
Deep packetlevel and protocollevel troubleshooting
Handling highseverity incidents in production
Good to Have
Exposure to Fortinet Palo Alto firewalls
Experience with Data Center or Enterprise networks
Monitoring tools SolarWinds PRTG SNOW
Basic understanding of cloud networking Azure AWS connectivity
ITIL process awareness Incident Change Problem Management
Experience Qualifications
6 to 10 years of experience in Network Operations Network Support
Strong experience in L3 operational support roles
Cisco certifications CCNP CCIE preferred not mandatory
