Job Summary: Embody a positive and professional image by maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment within healthcare facilities located in the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical duties with hospitality and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform floor care including top scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing to achieve a high-gloss finish using specialized equipment.
Conduct detailed cleaning tasks such as baseboards, edges, doors, and transition strips.
Manage inventory and ordering of supplies including paper products, cleaning materials, and paint.
Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed.
Perform window washing, carpet cleaning, and light fixture maintenance.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and promptly report any repair needs.
Adhere to chemical safety protocols and proper use of cleaning tools.
Support team goals by demonstrating cooperation, communication, and initiative in completing tasks.
Uphold guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including reporting any concerns related to abuse or safety.
Protect confidentiality and privacy of patients and staff.
Participate in safety and disaster response procedures as required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in a related support services or custodial role is advantageous.
This position operates on a 5:00pm to 1:00am shift, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
