Role Overview
As an Application Delivery Technical Analyst, you will design, prototype, and scale modern web and mobile applications that power next‑generation wealth management experiences. You will work with engineers and use cases across the full stack-frontend, backend, APIs, and data-partnering closely with product, design, and platform teams to turn concepts into secure, production‑ready applications.
This role blends hands-on engineering with solution design, enables rapid prototyping and solution evaluation, and ensures the proposed technical designs maintain enterprise‑grade quality, performance, and scalability. This role is ideally suited for someone with a firm understanding of software development and a keen interest and curiosity in defining the future of mobile financial applications.
About the Team
The Wealth Research & Development (R&D) team is a strategic innovation hub focused on building next-generation wealth management solutions. We operate at the intersection of application engineering, AI-enabled capabilities, and human-centered design, rapidly designing, prototyping and validating solutions that can scale across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, prototype, and document full‑stack web and mobile applications
Evaluate with design teams responsive, intuitive frontend experiences and work with the engineering team to execute using modern UI frameworks (e.g., React)
Research, evaluate and propose 3rd party tools and partners to integrate into backend services and APIs using Python and Java
Evaluate, research and test cloud platform configurations on Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform to ensure scalable, reliable, auditable solutions that operate efficiently
Integrate applications with data platforms, AI/ML services, and third‑party systems
Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging for cloud-deployed applications
Partner with product managers, designers, and QA to translate requirements into working solutions
Create dashboards, internal tools, and technical documentation to share progress and insights
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong experience building and/or designing full‑stack applications for web and/or mobile platforms
High level understanding of Python for backend development and data-driven services
High level of understanding of Java for building scalable, enterprise-grade backend systems
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and UI development
Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud (Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform)
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and application integration
Experience with databases and data access (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Familiarity with containerization and cloud services (e.g., Docker, managed compute, storage, messaging)
Understanding of secure application development and deployment best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
3+ years of experience delivering production-grade web or mobile applications
Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
Experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, serverless, managed services)
Familiarity with Azure services such as App Services, AKS, Functions, or comparable AWS/GCP services
Experience integrating applications with AI/ML or LLM-powered services
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts
Experience designing, managing or building scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices
Core Competencies
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Ability to navigate seamlessly across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical partners
Attention to detail in code design\requirements, testing, security review, and documentation
Adaptability and curiosity in a fast‑paced, cloud-first innovation environment
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $188,750 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
