Receptionist

As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.

As a Receptionist you will perform clinical tasks such as:
Greeting patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, managing calendars, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
Updating patient accounts and collecting copays when needed.
Handling incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and providing general information and empathy.
Keeping the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
Helping with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
Required Qualifications:
1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
Convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls
Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
Experience using tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
Experience improving patient care and experience
This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.

Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: $38,000 - $45,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
