Logistics Clerk
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting the efficient movement, tracking, and documentation of goods throughout the supply chain. This role ensures accurate shipping and receiving processes, maintains inventory records, and coordinates with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and compliant delivery of products.
The Logistics Clerk performs daily operational activities related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring the flow of goods to internal and external customers, and ensuring alignment across departments to support distribution center efficiency and service levels.

Process and prepare shipping and receiving documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and purchase orders
Track shipments and update delivery status in company systems (e.g., WMS/ERP)
Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely shipments
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage
Maintain and update inventory records to support accurate stock control
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customer inquiries
Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and vendors
Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities
File and organize logistics-related documentation in accordance with company standards
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, transportation, and company policies
Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, customer service, and procurement teams
Perform additional duties as assigned to support Lucchese business needs
Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners
Working knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle WMS preferred)
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree preferred). Minimum of 23 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations. Experience in a distribution center environment preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Logistics Professional) are a plus.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed. Ability to move throughout the warehouse and office environment. Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, video, and in person.
