PRN Recreation Activity/Aide

Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, and the CD population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently hiring for a PRN Recreation Activity/Aide. The Recreation Activity/Aide is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned structured programs, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients and documentation of service provided. This is an hourly, non-exempt PRN (as needed) position.
Qualifications Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; 1 year college coursework or the equivalent in one year work experience; Prefer to have 1 year experience Service Excellence mentality; CPI and CPR; Ability to communicate effectively; Professional; Good documentation ability.
