Pipeline Control Operator
Job Objective: Monitors, maintains, and controls all deliveries of oil into and out of "Harvest Pipeline" pipelines via Scada and satellite monitoring.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Reviews and monitors prior shift, to check for accuracy, daily computer log and scan process board.
Records oil and gas volumes, and makes necessary changes.
Monitors and maintains daily flow charts.
Records daily tank inventory.
Monitors and maintains process readings on daily log sheets.
Acknowledges, responds to, and initiates corrections/action to process alarms.
Communicate and work with other Harvest personnel and field Operators for daily operation of the pipeline systems.
Communicate and work with Producers and other Pipeline Control facilities on a daily basis, setting flow rates, scheduled shutdowns, emergency shutdowns, pressures and any other issue that may arise.
Monitors and maintains all control loops on the pipelines.
Conducts and/or coordinates ongoing maintenance and general housekeeping of the control room.
Reads automatic gauges, as specified intervals, to determine flow rate of gas and oil.
Monitors and maintains logs of meter readings, test results, and adjustments made.
Adheres to the company's values

Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).

Qualifications:
Four (4) to seven (7) years of oil pipeline control experience, or closely related experience.
Minimum of 5 years LDAR experience including 1stattempt repairs and documentation, DOR planning, and Final Repair confirmation.
5/8 Schedule

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Ability to accurately perform tasks.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to operate SCADA or other engineering control loops.
Good administrative and organizational skills.
Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
Ability to make independent, rational decisions, as required.
Ability to maintain the integrity of the plant process.
Ability to work alone and highly motivated.
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
Travel up to 50% as necessary
Ability to operate 4x4 vehicle in adverse conditions, including winter travel.
Education Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
