Financial Reporting Analyst

Krispy Kreme's Financial Reporting Analyst will be a key member of the Krispy Kreme Finance team reporting to the Manager External Reporting. Supports the Krispy Kreme global businesses by working hands-on with Company leadership and divisional leaders to assist in meeting Financial Reporting requirements of key stakeholders.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing
Assist management in development of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting presentations for key stakeholders.
Maintains comprehensive and transparent financial models to support analysis.
Ensures compliance with local regulations, GAAP accounting principles and company policies and procedures.
Stay abreast of industry changes and current tax/accounting laws.
Helps to ensure reporting is timely and accurate.
Prepares account reconciliations and reporting packages
Establishes and continuously improves reporting processes by assisting internal data providers and coordinating with functional area leaders.
Applies the best financial practices, knowledge of strategic objectives and understanding of market drivers and competitive landscape to impact business results.
Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI), analyze trends and identify the cause of any unexpected variances, especially relating to financial metrics such as Net Sales, EBITDA, and Net Income.
Develop, refine and implement financial tools and dashboard reports.
Creates informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting and opportunities for improvement.
Your recipe for success
Bachelor's Degree or higher in finance or accounting
1-3 years of relevant work experience, potentially including financial analyst roles of increasing responsibilities and/or Big 4 public accounting experience and external reporting experience
High attention to detail, analytical, and inquisitive
Strong financial and analytical abilities
Baseline GAAP knowledge and financial accounting acumen
Critical thinking and ability to manage projects with high need for accuracy
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with both finance and business professionals
Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence and integrity
Ability to pivot quickly between multiple complex projects
