Driver/Porter
DeVivo Company currently has an opening for a full-time Driver/Porter at our Saugus, MA location.
DeVivo Companies delivers comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions, serving the Northeast for over a century. Our capabilities span fleet maintenance and repair, school and commercial bus sales and service, truck and trailer equipmentincluding towing, refrigerated transport, yard trucks, and specialty vehicle buildsas well as a full Parts & Tools operation supporting daily maintenance needs. With twelve locations, OEM partnerships, factory-trained technicians, and extensive parts inventories, we provide complete lifecycle support for the vehicles and equipment that keep businesses and municipalities moving. Primary Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver trucks and buses
Deliver products to our customers in a safe, professional and timely manner
Fill out delivery logs and paperwork completely
Verify parts orders match the parts pulled for delivery
Perform warehouse duties during non-delivery times
Pick-up and process returned parts and cores from customers daily
Position Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
Ability to read and comprehend maps and/or written directions
Good communication skills with all levels of company, vendors, and customers
Good organization skills
Good with numbers and tracking
Self-motivated that works well independently and with a team
Must be able to lift 75lbs.
