Build a Long-Term Career in Industrial Manufacturing

This is more than a warehouse jobit's a career entry point into union manufacturing with paid training, clear advancement, and long-term stability. As an Overhead Crane Operator, you'll work in a large industrial setting where safety comes first and employees are trained to grow into skilled machine operator roles.
After approximately 90 days, successful employees transition to direct union employment with outstanding benefits.
What You'll Be Doing

You'll support production by safely handling and staging sheet metal while learning advanced processing equipment:
Unload semi-trailers and trucks using overhead cranes
Stage and organize sheet metal to keep production running smoothly
Move, stack, and prepare material after it's cut to length
Supply material to cut-to-length lines and plasma cutting machines
Learn to operate plasma cutters and cut-to-length equipment through on-the-job training
Assist with loading, unloading, and order picking
Help maintain organized material flow and inventory accuracy
Follow all safety procedures and use proper rigging and lifting techniques
Your first day is dedicated to safety training and orientation, so you start confidently and safely.
Training & Schedule

Paid training provided
Off-shift employees train on 1st shift for up to one month
Available shifts:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM

2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:20 PM

12:50 AM (MondayThursday)

Includes two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch
What We're Looking For

We're seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals who want to learn and build skillsnot just punch a clock.
Required

1+ year of manufacturing or production experience
Material handling experience in an industrial environment
Ability and willingness to learn overhead crane operation
Comfortable working with sheet metal or heavy materials
Able to work full-time on a set shift
Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment
Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
Steel-toe boots with built-in metatarsal protection required
Preferred (Not Required)

Overhead crane experience
Experience in steel, sheet metal, or metals production
Experience in high-volume production or warehouse settings
Interest in learning advanced machinery

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
