CNC Machinist/Programmer
A manufacturer located in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their team. Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm M-F. Pay rate: $30-$40/hr. Will be working at an Okuma Machining Center. Job duties include setting up and operating to close tolerance on CNC V.M.C. to perform operations such as boring, milling, drilling, thread milling, ridged tapping and other operations; loading, saving and adjusting programs; selecting proper tools and tool setting if required. Installing tooling in the magazine changers and indexing and/or replacing inserts; installing fixtures and using set-up sheets; monitoring speeds and feeds for most efficient and safe operation. Job requirements include 5+ years of CNC machining experience; must be knowledgeable of CNC programming and G-code. Fanuc controls and V.M.C. experience is a bonus.
