Position Summary:
The Automotive Detail Technician is responsible for cleaning, reconditioning, and preparing vehicles for display, delivery, and service customers. This role plays a key part in maintaining the dealership's professional image and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicles using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions
Vacuum and shampoo interior carpets, seats, and upholstery
Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces
Clean windows, mirrors, and trim to a streak-free finish
Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery
Maintain cleanliness of the detail bay and equipment
Move vehicles safely around the lot and service areas
Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
Qualifications:
Previous automotive detailing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles
Ability to stand, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
