Pharmaceutical Compression Operator
Role Overview: Responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of tablet compression machinery, focusing on precision and tooling management. Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Set up and operate compression machines for various batch types (optimization, validation, and commercial) following SOPs.
Tooling Management: Responsible for the inventory, retrieval, and inspection of punches, dies, and integrity-sensitive components like sieves and screens.
Compliance Documentation: Maintain precise records in batch manufacturing files and logbooks; enter calibration data for weighing scales.
Quality Control: Monitor area conditions and ensure equipment accessories are cleaned as per standard protocols.
Qualification: Assist in the qualification process for new or existing compression equipment.
Facility Protocol: Maintain high standards of hygiene through mandatory gowning and cleanroom procedures.
Qualifications: Preferably a Science background. 35 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is essential.
