Job Description
Job Summary:
Provides technical and non-technical customer support in walk-in service area or call center. Communicates with customer via phone, email, and in-person.
Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience.
Specific responsibilities include:
Intake and assist walk-ins, appointments, and returning customers
Create estimates, price quotes, and invoices for auto work
Answer phones and return customer calls
Fields and escalates customer concerns as needed with technical or specialized support
Provides exceptional customer service to each customer that enters and leaves the store
Follows standard operating procedures to provide excellent customer service and to maintain and improve orders
Work is routine and closely supervised
Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation
Assist manager with daily parts returns
Ensure accuracy when ordering parts
Input documentation on all calls and follow-up with callers as needed
Confirm all mobile jobs parts and materials before dispatching drivers
Open new accounts and service existing accounts
Skills/Qualifications/Physical Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a positive attitude and customer service mindset
Exceptional customer service skills
Attention to detail
Able to bend or stand at least 80% of the time
Capable of working any day of the week including Sundays
Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into system
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members
Comfortable working in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to accomplish goals
Motivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams
Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus
Prior phone or call center experience is a plus!
