Work
This position is with the Platform Engineering, DevSecOps and Analysis Team (DAT) in the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Multi-Domain Combat System Integrated Engineering (MDCS IE) organization. In this role, you will work in the Common Source Library (CSL) Pipeline Site Reliability Team (SRT) to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy transformative capabilities focused on reducing costs and improving performance of software deliverables. You will develop enhancements and support sustainment activities for the existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) software factory pipeline used for the AEGIS combat system products.
A candidate for this position will work in a dynamic and collaborative Agile environment supporting the full lifecycle of complex state‑of‑the‑art systems that are deployed across the globe. The candidate will use modern tools and engineering practices to develop new capabilities and support continuing improvements. They will leverage Python, C++, JavaScript, and shell scripting languages. They will deploy on and be familiar with integration of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Podman, GitLab, Containers, Elastic Search, Jenkins, Atlassian, and other technologies.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering
Minimum 9 years experience with Python, C++, Java, and shell scripting in a Linux on‑prem and cloud environment
Experience or knowledge with GitLab, GitLab Runners, Podman, Elastic Search, Linux, and Windows
Ability to work in an accelerated team environment with proven proficiency in full lifecycle software development
Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level (U.S. Citizenship required)
Desired Skills
Prior experience integrating tools with CI/CD pipelines
Prior experience with the AEGIS product software development lifecycle
AWS, Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Active Secret Security Clearance
Experience with GitLab: UI, CI, Actions
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence)
Experience with DevSecOps technologies
Occasional travel may be required
Security Clearance Statement
