POSITION SUMMARY
The Registrar is responsible for maintaining all student academic records, preparing transcripts, verifying fulfillment of graduation requirements, grade point average calculations, and responding to Alumni requests for transcripts when needed. The position also serves as the Assistant to College Counseling and is responsible for the online submission of all school documents which support a student's college application.
JOB DUTIES
Coordinates the college application process.
Manages student permanent files and student transcripts.
Oversees the National Merit Scholarship Program and the Oklahoma Academic Scholars program and all related paperwork, submissions and correspondence.
Management of college application materials and submission documentation. In Scoir, (College Counseling software), maintain accurate records of student applications, deadlines, overseeing transcript uploads, standardized testing data and GPA data.
Oversees the College Counseling budget with spending approvals from the Director of College Counseling. Maintain accurate records of departmental expenses and assist with reimbursement processing in coordination with the Director of College Counseling and the Business Office.
Renews and manages all professional organization memberships for the department.
Supports the Director of College Counseling and college counselors as needed.

Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE
Two to five years clerical and administration assistance.
EXPECTATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE
Must be self-motivated.
Strong technology proficiency with a preference for those with experience using PCR, Google Suite and other platforms.
Maintain exceptional organization along with the ability to handle numerous projects and interruptions.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be available to work some evenings as warranted.
Ability to function in an independent school atmosphere working with various school and volunteer organizations.
Regular attendance is required for successful completion of job duties.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work day from 8:00 to 4:30 with a 30 minute lunch break.
Activities include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual activity.
Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
Work primarily indoors in a temperature controlled, sealed office.
