Mechanical Assembler
1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Northside Jacksonville, FL (32226)
Starting Pay: $17.00$18.70 (Based on Shift)
About the Role
We are seeking Assemblers to join our team in an industrial manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assist in the assembly and production of Industrial Power Systems, with a focus on working with sheet metal and building metal control panels.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using sheet metal components
Assemble metal enclosures and system structures
Operate hand and power tools including drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools
Work effectively as part of a production team
Stand, stoop, bend, and work inside units that average 8 ft. tall
Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, including wearing steel-toe shoes starting on day one
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Experience using hand and power tools in a production environment
Manufacturing assembly experience
Ability to read and follow written work instructions
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing assembly experience
