What You'll Do as a Woodworker:
Set up and operate wood-sawing machinery
Operate drill presses, routers, sanders, planers, and wood nailing machines
Read and interpret drawings to determine dimensions, shapes, and specifications
Select the best materials and lengths for each job
Contribute to departmental quality control efforts
Demonstrate consistent initiative to produce high quality work
Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures
Report unsafe acts, accidents, and near miss incidents
Operate equipment only when trained and authorized
Maintain clean and organized work areas
What You Need to Bring to the Woodworker Role:
1 year of woodworking or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to lift 75100 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
Strong attention to quality
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic math and writing skills
Familiarity with woodworking equipment
Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
