Electro Mechanical Assembler
Location: Boonton, NJ
Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $22.75
Position Responsibilities:
Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints.
Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.
Sets up, operates, and maintains basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines.
Uses hand and power tools as required.
Builds harness assemblies.
Light usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability.
May perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
Follows proper use of PPE's to promote a safe work environment and performs 5S steps to ensure clean, hazard-free, and efficient work area.
Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience. Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes.
