Lead Production Technician - Formulator 1st Shift
Our Lead Production Technician - Formulator plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include daily coordination and working schedules for the formulations teams that are assigned to work in a specific area. Oversees planning, scheduling and daily execution for the formulation/manufacture of bulk and non-sterile products in the controlled and classified areas. Will support training of new formulators in daily manufacturing activities for non-sterile and sterile bulk/CSP operations such as; chemical weighing, sterile filter integrity testing, aseptic cleaning and disinfection of cleanroom, active ingredient inventory controls. This is a full-time role for our 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.
What the Lead Production Technician - Formulator Does Each Day:
Oversee activities, including scheduling dispensing, formulating, cleaning, compounding and sterile filtration activities
Oversee and supports the dispensing of chemicals and raw materials that will be used to manufacture bulk intermediate products
Oversee and supports preparation of bulk intermediate solutions that will be used in compounded sterile products
Complete necessary documents for accountability and traceability of product following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs); Comply with cGMPs, and company ISO standards
Comply with 503B guidelines; cGMPs, and company standards
Maintain Daily/ Bi-Weekly/Monthly cleaning of processing room and equipment and fill out appropriate preventative maintenance forms and checklists in accordance with SOP's
Immediate notification of production management of deviations to established processes or procedures
Pass & maintain Gown qualification
Pass & maintain Bulk Bag Media Fill Qualification
Perform training of on-the-job skills

Formulator:
Work with the area supervisor to manage daily activities of the formulation technicians to meet production schedule
Maintain Daily/ Bi-Weekly/Monthly cleaning of processing room and equipment
Timely address and escalate process nonconformities in batch formulation as appropriate
Promotes active listening with team members; Contributes appropriately to conversations; Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with other departments within the organization and with people at all levels of the organization
Maintain documentation, including batch documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices; has strong math skills
Effectively and productively engages with others and establishes trust, credibility, and confidence with others
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
High school Diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization
Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
Demonstrated performance with direct supervision of a team
At least 1-year pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
Strong Math skills
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva will not sponsor applicants for work visas

The base compensation for this role is estimated to be within the range described below. The compensation offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, training, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions
Range: $24.50 - $35.53 / hr
