Inventory Coordinator I

Position Summary At STERIS, the Inventory Coordinators are directly responsible for the proper storage and accuracy of Spare Parts, Supplies, Equipment, miscellaneous new products and accessories to support predefined inventory levels. You will be responsible for receiving Spare Parts, Supplies, Equipment, and miscellaneous new products and accessories, filling orders and other demand requirements for the same items. This is a day shift position.
What You'll Do as an Inventory Coordinator I:
Processes inventory and supplies to fill request and orders.
Completes periodic inventories to maintain available stock levels.
Perform Receiving and Inspection.
Conducts cycle counts as required.
Adheres to procedures of inventory control, including lot distributions and sealed bags.
Assists in breaking down, repackaging, and labeling Parts received as required.
Aware of and conforms to Company ISO goals and objectives and supports ISO requirements.
Other duties as assigned by management
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Required: HS diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years work experience, one of which is specifically in Inventory Control preferred. Strong attention to detail Ability to problem solve within area of responsibility Displays positive attitude and confidence Ability to work independently and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment Willingness to listen and learn, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to sit and stand for an extended period of time. Willing to work overtime and hours outside normal business hours as needed, based on Customer needs.
