Citarrella Shift Lead of the Packing Team

Role Overview:
As a Shift lead of the Packing team, you will be responsible for the supervision of the packing and shipment of wet and/or dry merchandise to all stores. Experience leading/supervising a team is crucial for this position. This role has direct supervision responsibilities, upholding Citarella's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Verify recount of night shift production
Handle waste report
Ensure all products are properly labeled and dated
Verify the distribution and quality of all products
Pack all packing cycle orders with deadlines and verify proper conditions and temperature.
Monitor and check all pastry and kitchen orders to be packed
Supervise staff and handle weekly schedules
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Pack, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. of merchandise
Ability to supervise
Organizational skills
Time Management skills
Additional Requirements:
Pastry experience is a plus.
Ability to perform physical requirements of position, including standing for extended periods and possibly in refrigerated work areas
Lifting loads of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Conduct business-related mathematics and analyze data as required.
