Job Requirements:
Must have a thorough understanding of cGMP and GDP requirements.
Must be able to think critically and exercise sound judgment when making critical decisions.
Must be able to navigate company quality and/or enterprise systems as needed to perform assigned tasks.
Must coordinate closely with shift supervisors across all three shifts.
Must be able to generate, read, and interpret metrics and develop visual presentations for group discussions. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Must be able to read and interpret documents in English and be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must work independently and be flexible to changing priorities. Strong personal computer skills.
Must have excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Must be resourceful, self-reliant, self-motivated, and confident.
Must be able to effectively manage projects cross-functionally.
Should be a self-starter who takes initiative to complete own tasks as well as to drive completion of team's assigned tasks
Primary Duties:
Planning

long term to short term
Collaborate with Planning department and support groups to develop short-term schedule aligned with forecast.
Coordinate with Shift Supervisors and support teams on all shifts to ensure the schedule is understood and executed as planned.
Liese with Project Managers for development and engineering activities to ensure smooth execution. Coordinate with shift supervisors to ensure full scope is understood.
Monitor Performance
Partner with OpEx and/or Data Analytics personnel to gather data on key performance indicators.
Review daily production performance against established goals and drive accountability. This includes, but is not limited to, production throughput, downtime, changeovers, and quality events.
Process Improvement
Leading a cross-functional team aimed to monitor safety, quality, and delivery performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement.
Analyze data routinely to develop potential process improvements and set clear goals for the team.
Lead cost savings initiatives.
Support Team
Remain reasonably flexible to support team as needed. This can include shift coverage during PTO or high priority activities and/or availability for escalation of events.
Ensure upcoming jobs are supportable. Perform document reviews and approvals to ensure supportability.
Support investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action assignments, and impact/risk assessments.
Ensure documentation is completed following GDP requirements. Data Integrity must be reinforced and monitored.
Collaborate with area manager to ensure the approved headcount is adequate to support demand.
Ensure Union Collective Bargaining Agreement is upheld, where applicable.
Qualifications

Education

Preferred

Bachelors or better in Engineering.
Experience

Preferred

5 years:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Life Sciences or a related industry

BS in Science or Engineering Preferred

Excellent Leadership and Coaching Skills

Excellent project management skills.

Sound technical writing and problem-solving skills
