Physical Therapist Assistant

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our amazing team of therapy professionals in Henderson, KY. While previous healthcare experience is a benefit, this position is also open to recent graduates. This position focuses predominately in the outpatient orthopedic department wing of a busy hospital, with occasional floating to the Inpatient department. Weekday PRN PTA needed - no weekend rotation required!
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication and patient care skills
KY Physical Therapy Assistant license or ability to receive KY PTA license
CPR certification
This position is responsible for:
Providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases
Restoring function
Relieving pains
Preventing disability
All functions performed under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
