Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated CNAs and HHAs to join our team in the New Smyrna area. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients by providing quality care in their homes.
Description of the Role: In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary needs, and offer companionship and emotional support. Strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license are essential.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide assistance with ambulation and mobility
Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervisor
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and needs
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
Certification as a CNA or HHA
Valid CPR (American Heart Association affiliated) or BLS
Valid level 2 background check on file
Prior experience in a home care setting preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
Valid driver's license and ability to drive clients where needed
Benefits:
