Performs the inventory control I functions as outlined below to cover the internal customer
request and requirements. This position will include inventory and shipment of product
goods.
Responsibilities & Duties
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Operates forklift, pallet jacks and other associated warehouse equipment.
• Conveys materials and items from production, warehouse, staging, or shipping areas as
directed.
• Marks materials with identifying information and labels for all products.
• Uses handheld bar code scanner.
• Opens cartons, bales, crates, and other containers and ensure shipments are
undamaged. Notes any discrepancies.
• Performs area housekeeping duties including trash dumping, sweeping, and organizing
work areas.
• Abides by all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to memorize all 25 Systems Applications & Products (SAP) T-code transactions
related to inventory control Level I.
• Ability to work alternate shifts, as assigned, to meet business needs.
• Complete all mezzanine tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of demonstrated experience working in a warehouse required.
• Must be able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and
various other documents and instructions.
• Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to follow supervisory instructions.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Must have the ability to operate equipment that is assigned in the warehouse.
• Effective communication skills with fluency in English required.
• To be eligible for promotion to Inventory Control II, the employees must obtain full
certification of level I for the inventory control functions.
