Job Title: PC Support Analyst (Tier 2 Desktop Support)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable
PC Support Analyst
to serve as a key point of contact for internal IT support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving end-user issues, and maintaining desktop systems in a structured environment.
You will be responsible for providing Tier 2 support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a smooth computing experience for end users.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, install, and maintain desktop and laptop systems
Perform software installations, upgrades, and new hardware deployments
Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals
Provide Tier 2 support for end-user computing and LAN environments
Support remote and mobile users, including VPN and connectivity issues
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.)
Follow established troubleshooting processes, scripts, and checklists
Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 3 support when required
Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures
Deliver excellent customer service and end-user support
Assist with testing and evaluation of new desktop technologies and solutions
Provide end-user training when necessary
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
(or equivalent work experience)
2+ years of experience in Tier 2 desktop or end-user support
Strong experience with:
Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook)
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Experience supporting peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, TCP/IP)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience providing remote and phone-based technical support
Familiarity with desktop imaging and deployment tools
Experience supporting VPN and VoIP systems
Knowledge of hardware repair (RAM, hard drives, peripherals, etc.)
Exposure to emulation tools or legacy systems is a plus
Experience working in structured or regulated IT environments
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site role
Candidates must be comfortable working in a structured and secure IT environment
Background verification may be required as part of the hiring process
Required training must be completed within the first 30 days of onboarding
