Reporting to the Director of Health Professions, this faculty member will support student success by preparing curriculum, including writing syllabi, developing new courses, selecting textbooks, etc.;developing and teaching EMS classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods;teaching on campus and at offsite locations, including clinical sites;assisting in the advisement of students and:serving on various assigned college committees.## QualificationsAssociate degree in Emergency Medical Services or closely related field;DSHS Texas EMS certification:Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic and:DSHS Texas EMS Instructor/coordinator;teaching experience at the community college level desirable;ability to teach using multiple delivery methods, including online and hybrid instruction; demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations; excellent written and oral communication skills;other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one's value to the institution;exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern A sociation (SAC ) minimum credentials are met·
