Structural Welder
Trillium Construction is seeking a structural welder for a project in Charlottesville, VA.
Key responsibilities include:
Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
Weld using stick and MIG processes, mostly stick.
Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel so that it can be lifted with slings.
Use shears, rod-bending machines, torches, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld the structural and reinforcing iron and steel.
Connect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or welds.
Install metal decking and cold form metal framing used in building construction.
Working from heights, ladders, stairwell shafts, columns and beams 30 ft above working surface.
Pay rate is up to $30/hour. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 50h+ / week.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Pre-employment screenings.
