Accounting Analyst
As an important member of the Finance department, the Accounting Analyst supports the financial operations of our global aerospace test cell manufacturing at Safran Test Cells. In this role, you'll manage transactional data, conduct account reconciliations, participate in month-end close, and help prepare financial reports that inform critical decisions. You'll also play a role in internal controls and risk management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity across our advanced, high-performance operations. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will support complex programs and drive financial excellence across our worldwide initiatives.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Perform detailed account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
Prepare and analyze routine and ad hoc financial reports for management, delivering insights to support business decisions.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation in compliance with corporate policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
Assist in the management of the company's insurance portfolio, including policy renewals, claims support, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing schedules, retrieving documents, and responding to auditor requests.
Monitor and help improve accounting processes, recommending and implementing efficiency and control enhancements.
Participate in projects related to system upgrades, process automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Support administration of foreign branches.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry best practices, local regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial and employee data.
Foster strong working relationships with other departments to support effective business operations.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
