Aerospace Masking in South Windsor, CT!
If you're detail-oriented and take pride in precision work, this role puts your craftsmanship front and center. You'll prepare aerospace components for finishing processes by carefully masking metallic and non-metallic parts to exact customer and blueprint specifications. This is hands-on, focused work in a quality-driven manufacturing environment where accuracy matters.
What You'll Do
Apply masking tapes, foils, plugs, screws, and related materials to aerospace parts based on blueprint and customer instructions
Interpret detailed masking requirements for various part numbers and customer specifications
Handle and mask parts weighing 20+ pounds depending on product type
Use hand tools to achieve clean, accurate masking results
Maintain quality standards and safe work practices throughout the production process
Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and customer documentation
Support team production goals while working independently when needed
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area
What You'll Bring
Previous masking experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Comfort lifting up to 40 lbs and performing repetitive hand and wrist motions
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in physically active environments
Basic computer familiarity and strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted hours when production demands require
Schedule & Pay
MondayFriday | 7:00 AM3:30 PM | Full-Time
$20.00/hr | Weekly Pay
