Position Overview
The Fitness Education Specialist Burn University is responsible for the facilitation, execution, and continuous improvement of Burn University (Burn U) learning experiences. This role focuses on delivering high-impact educational programs that develop confident, consistent, and capable trainers and leaders across the Burn Boot Camp system. This position prioritizes classroom facilitation, curriculum execution, trainer evaluation, and learner experience, with limited emphasis on system-wide deployments.
***This is an in-person position, based at our Headquarters in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Roles and Responsibilities
Facilitate live, in-person, and virtual Burn University sessions Deliver classroom-based learning aligned with brand standards and adult learning principles Manage session flow, schedules, engagement, and logistics Serve as lead facilitator and subject-matter expert
Curriculum & Content Execution
Develop and maintain Burn University curriculum and materials Ensure content reflects current programming and protocols Partner with Learning & Development on instructional design Maintain trainer manuals and educational resources
Trainer Observation, Evaluation & Feedback
Observe trainers and participants during Burn University Facilitate structured feedback and coaching loops Lead mock camps and applied learning sessions Document insights and share with leadership
Deployment Scope (Secondary)
System deployments and gym openings are limited and secondary to Burn University responsibilities. Travel is primarily education-focused. Travel required 30% 50%.
Qualifications
Current Personal Training Certification Classroom facilitation or training experience Strong public speaking and instructional skills Excellent communication and organizational skills
