Description
Position: 1st shift Machine Operator Shift: 7am-3:30pm Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our 3rd shift team. This role is responsible for converting paper rolls into high-quality paperboard sheets while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities:
Convert large paper rolls into paperboard sheets using sheeter machinery.
Adjust machine settings such as temperature, speed, and pressure to meet product specifications.
Monitor production systems and quickly identify, troubleshoot, and correct defects.
Perform basic machine maintenance and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Load and unload paper rolls as needed for production.
Follow all company safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications: Understanding of basic manufacturing processes. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make quick, accurate decisions. Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
