St. Mary's Medical Center Seeks a Full-Time CMA or LPN
St. Mary's Medical Center seeks a full-time CMA or LPN to work in the HIMG Primary Care department. The position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment. Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position. Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
Answering phones & Making appointments
Greeting & interacting with patients & customers
Initial patient screenings
Pulling and filing patient charts
Taking blood pressure & medical histories
Assisting doctors
Calling or faxing prescriptions
