**Role: Platform Engineer**
Location: New York
**What You'll Be Doing:**
* Building and scaling a modern platform that enables engineering teams to efficiently develop, deploy, and operate applications
* Owning Kubernetes and containerization strategy across environments
* Managing cloud infrastructure and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi)
* Partnering with engineering and security teams to implement secure, scalable SDLC practices
* Driving improvements to platform reliability, performance, and developer experience
**What They're Looking For:**
* Strong experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
* Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (cluster ops, networking, ingress, Helm, RBAC)
* Solid cloud experience (AWS and/or GCP)
* Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform/Pulumi)
* Strong Python skills for automation and tooling
* Experience working closely with engineering teams to support and improve platform capabilities
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows
* Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve engineering efficiency
**Nice to Have:**
* Experience with identity/security frameworks, policy engines, or secrets management
* Exposure to GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux)
* Observability tooling (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
* Experience building internal developer platforms or tooling
