The Client Partner - Media & Entertainment will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the Media, Entertainment, Broadcasting, Streaming, Digital Media, Gaming, and Advertising sectors. This role owns the P&L, drives revenue growth, builds C-level relationships, and leads large digital transformation engagements.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned farmer with deep M&E industry knowledge and a proven track record of closing large IT services deals.
Key Responsibilities
Account Leadership & P&L Ownership
Own overall account strategy, revenue growth, and profitability.
Manage annual revenue targets (typically $10M-$50M+ portfolio).
Drive YoY growth across digital, cloud, data, AI, and engineering services.
Oversee account governance, delivery alignment, and client satisfaction.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
Identify and close new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Lead large deal pursuits (RFP/RFI/RFQ) and proactive deal origination.
Build pipeline across:
Digital Transformation
OTT & Streaming platforms
Content supply chain modernization
Cloud migration & modernization
Data & AI personalization
AdTech / MarTech transformation
Cybersecurity & platform engineering
Close large multi-year managed services and transformation deals.
Target TCV: $10M-$100M+ cumulative annually (depending on portfolio size).
Executive Relationship Management
Build trusted advisor relationships with:
CIO / CTO
Chief Digital Officer
Chief Product Officer
Chief Data Officer
VP Engineering
VP Content Operations
Business & Revenue Leaders
Conduct executive business reviews (QBRs).
Align IT strategy with business outcomes (subscriber growth, ad revenue, content velocity).
Strategic Solution Selling
Collaborate with solution architects and practice leaders.
Position end-to-end services:
Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Data & AI/ML
OTT & streaming platform engineering
Content management systems
Digital experience platforms
Ad monetization platforms
Enterprise modernization (ERP, CRM)
Managed Services / AMS
Drive consultative, value-based selling rather than transactional sales.
Deal Structuring & Negotiation
Lead commercial structuring, pricing, and contract negotiations.
Manage complex MSA/SOW agreements.
Ensure margin targets and profitability compliance.
Close large transformation and managed services deals.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, pre-sales, finance).
Align offshore/onshore delivery model.
Drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Required Qualifications
12-20+ years in IT Services / IT Consulting sales.
5+ years focused on Media & Entertainment vertical.
Proven experience managing $10M+ accounts.
Track record of closing $5M-$20M+ deals (multi-year).
Strong understanding of:
OTT platforms & streaming ecosystems
Content lifecycle management
Digital media monetization models
Cloud-native architecture
Data-driven personalization
Experience selling to Tier-1 M&E clients in the U.S.
Strong executive presence and negotiation skills.
