Patient Registration Associate

The Patient Registration Associate is responsible for setting up patient appointment, financial counseling, registration, medical records, receptionist and other administrative and clerical functions in the Ambulatory Care Clinics.

* High School Graduate or GED

* Successful completion of a course in billing

* One (1) to two (2) years in health care clerical related experience

* Must speak English proficiently. Legible handwriting

* Moderate to strong data processing, computer and typing skills

* Ability to meet public, communicate clearly on the telephone, interact with patients, staff and other hospital departments

* Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in a pressured environment.
