Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Software Architect
to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for large-scale, business-critical systems. This role focuses on cloud-native design, microservices architecture, and modern application development using technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure services, with an emphasis on driving innovation and enterprise-wide standards.
Responsibilities
Define and lead architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across engineering teams
Design and develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference implementations (hands-on)
Partner with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications
Drive adoption of cloud technologies, including Azure, containers (Kubernetes/AKS), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep)
Introduce and scale new technologies through pilots and structured rollouts
Establish governance frameworks that balance risk, compliance, and innovation
Maintain architectural documentation, standards, and reusable components
Act as a technical authority to resolve complex system and application challenges
Requirements
10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture
Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and SQL-based systems
Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, storage, networking)
Experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed system design
Experience with containerization and infrastructure-as-code technologies
Ability to influence technical direction across teams and stakeholders
Exposure to areas such as AI/ML, observability, or performance engineering is a plus
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services) is a plus
