Job Purpose
Role purpose : Presales and Solutioning – To create multiple use cases and solutions for IoT across Smart Mobility and Smart Infra (Industry 4.0) addressing customer requirements.
Key Result Areas / Accountabilities
Define the solution for various IoT applications in smart mobility and Industry 4.0 solutions
Expertise across connected vehicle, electric vehicle (2W/3W/4W), logistics, condition‑based monitoring of machines, energy monitoring solutions
Closely work with Product team and application teams to evaluate and select the right partnership and engagement model and provide market/business inputs to product and solution teams
Partner with Upstream Sales and Business Development teams to identify new project concepts and develop these concepts to fill the business product portfolio
Understand customer requirement, create a feasibility matrix and technical architecture for deployment and application perspective and propose the right end‑to‑end solution to meet the customer requirement
Create techno‑commercial proposal and response for RFP/RFI and provide consulting service to customer for RFP creation
Deliver pilots and proofs of concepts for device and apps and monitor the performance
Closely coordinate and interact with standard bodies, industrial standards and participate in white papers, draft specifications and ensure adherence
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
10‑12 years of experience in presales and solutioning with various IoT applications in Smart Mobility and Smart Infra vertical
Knowledge of trends in automotive industry, 5G‑in connected car, electric vehicle, logistics, AIS 140 and other relevant technologies
Knowledge of trends in machine automation, robotics & vision and other relevant technologies
Understanding of detailed processes in automotive industry
Develop and implement solutions and strategies for IoT industry in line with company’s business vision and goals
Coordinate, propose workflows and execute project workflow (planning, scope, budget, quality, documentation, etc.)
Understanding of IoT value chain and desired protocols
Detail understanding of CAN‑BUS protocol/architecture, MQTT, TCP/IP and industrial IoT protocols
Knowledge of various application middleware and common layer platforms
Aware of global automotive standards and required hardware certifications
Knowledge of communication technology such as 4G/2G, and eSIM
Analytics component and data‑driven use cases
Aware of sensor‑based solutions for designing end‑to‑end deliverables
Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, email and social interaction with CXO level
Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
Engineering Graduate/Post‑Graduate in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred
Must have worked as senior lead at Presales/Product organization for at least 10 years around enterprise solutions and products
Regulatory understanding and M2M guidelines and ability
Years of Experience
