Long Beach Day Nursery (LBDN) is growing our early childhood teaching team. We have full-time Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher positions available at both of our branches! Please see our website for exact locations. If you are passionate about working with children, look no further!
Our teachers have the important responsibility of instructing children in developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for child development. You will have the opportunity to supervise and assist children with general routines, such as art, literacy, science, mealtime, and potty-training activities. You will also support lesson planning, maintain an organized environment, and ensure proper care of educational equipment and materials.

Minimum requirements:
Some ECE units or former experience working with children is required
Maintain a collaborative, team-player attitude while working with a successful team
Strong organizational skills
Excellent patience and enjoy creating a fun environment
Willingness to learn
Capable of remaining punctual with great time-management skills
Nurturing, friendly, positive attitude and professional
Associate Degree (or higher) in ECE, preferred
Experience with infants and toddlers a plus
LBDN is a high quality, nationally accredited, nonprofit early childhood organization serving over 250 children annually from ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. LBDN believes in developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum and practices continuity of care.

Full-time, pay range $22.00 - $23.50 per hour depending on education. Schedules range from 7:30am - 5:00pm 40 hours a week
