Mechanical Assembler I

At Medical Manufacturing Technologies (MMT), we design and build advanced machinery used in the production of medical devices. We're hiring a Mechanical Assembler I to join our team and help build high-quality, precision equipment from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies into finished equipment
Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, etc.)
Inspect and verify parts meet quality standards
Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and support testing
Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, safe workspace
What We're Looking For
14 years of mechanical assembly or hands-on experience preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic math skills (measurements, tolerances)
Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
Team-oriented with solid communication skills
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment
Hands-on role in a manufacturing setting
Frequent standing/sitting and detailed assembly work
Occasional lifting up to 60 lbs
Overtime as needed based on production
