Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Framingham, MA Job Type: Part-Time (5-10 hours/week) Flexible schedule Setting: Outpatient clinic
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing treatment plans, improving patient mobility, and contributing to high-quality rehabilitative care for both pediatric and adult populations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on therapy to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
Educate patients and families on exercises and self-care techniques
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
Experience in outpatient settings preferred
Experience with pediatric and/or adolescent patients is a plus
Knowledge of manual therapy techniques (craniosacral experience preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
