Secretary to the Board of Trustees
The Secretary to the Board of Trustees provides operational leadership for the Board Office, ensuring the effective management of all board-related functions. This role supports strong governance practices and promotes a high-functioning Board through well-planned meetings, accurate record keeping, clear communications, and consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
The Secretary oversees the coordination of board agendas, materials, minutes, and official records; ensures compliance with governance standards and regulatory requirements; and facilitates effective information flow between the Board, the President's Office, and administrative leadership.
Serving as a trusted advisor on governance processes and board operations, the Secretary helps enable informed decision-making while maintaining the integrity, transparency, efficiency, and professionalism of the Board's work.
