Material Handler
Our client, a manufacturing organization dedicated to producing high-quality ingredients, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring smooth manufacturing processes and maintaining safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Slate Hill, NY
Pay Range: $19.00/hr.
Shift: 2nd Shift- Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm
What's the Job?
Mix ingredients according to detailed recipe instructions for large batch production
Open bags of powder ingredients and prepare them for mixing in large drums
Monitor temperature gauges and document results accurately on flow charts
Assist in bagging and boxing finished products, then place on pallets for shipment
Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and using utility knives safely
What's Needed?
Ability to follow written instructions precisely and maintain detailed documentation
Good handwriting and attention to detail
Physical stamina to lift heavy bags and perform manual tasks
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with physical demands
Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes is a plus
