Responsibilities

Receives verbal/written assignments from RN/LPN.
Reports any changes in patient condition to RN/LPN.
Cleans equipment between each patient use.
Operates unit equipment as required; runs unit errands as needed.
Assists with transfers and discharge.
Maintains clean and neat stocked areas and patient rooms.
Keeps hallway clear of equipment.
Signs/initials documentation.
Reports any skin condition to RN.
Responds to overhead pages.
Participates in orientation of new employees as assigned.
Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
Safely transports and assists with patient positioning under anesthesia under the direction of surgeon, and nursing staff.
Regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
Related duties as required.
Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire Required
Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
