Join our team as a skilled welder focusing on TIG welding of stainless steel exhaust systems ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick. This role is instrumental in supporting the automotive and heavy-duty industries by ensuring high-quality, low-production welding and repair welding from robotic operations.
Shift: 2nd, 4:00pm-2:00am, Monday-Thursday with some Fridays when needed.

MUST HAVE PRIOR TIG WELDING EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
Perform manual TIG welding on stainless steel and sheet metal hospital beds
Operate, set, and maintain manual production welding equipment to join metal components as per customer specifications.
Monitor quality, process paperwork, and maintain a clean work area to meet fast-paced production requirements.
Run robotic weld machines or Continuous Resistance Welders when manual welding demand is low.
Troubleshoot robotic weld machines and train operators as needed.
Essential Skills
2 years of experience in TIG welding, focusing on round welding.
1+ year of experience in welding stainless steel with thicknesses of 16 gauge.
1+ year of experience in blueprint reading, including weld symbols and material identification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of TIG welding experience is preferred.
Experience with robotics is a plus.

Work Environment
This role is based at the 1201 Building and involves working in a fast-paced, clean manufacturing environment. The position offers two shifts: 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm to 3am, with occasional Friday shifts. The work involves operating automated tube benders, welder machines, and various robotic systems. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection is required, with some areas of the facility being louder than others.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
